Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 2026

This cookie policy describes which cookies and similar technologies Yggra uses on yggra.eu, why we use them, and how you can manage your consent. This policy supplements our privacy policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your computer, smartphone or tablet when you visit the site. They allow the website to remember information about your visit — for example, your language preference, your session, or how you use the site.

Beyond cookies, similar technologies are also used (such as local storage, pixel tags, or fingerprinting). In this policy, we refer to all of these collectively as "cookies".

Cookies may be placed by Yggra itself (first-party cookies) or by third parties we collaborate with (third-party cookies).

2. What categories of cookies do we use?

Yggra applies four categories, in line with the guidelines of the Belgian Data Protection Authority and the European Data Protection Board.

2.1 Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the website to function. Without them, the site cannot operate correctly. No consent is required for this category — the law permits their use without opt-in.

2.2 Preference cookies

These cookies remember choices you make (such as your language preference or cookie settings), so you don't have to set them again on every visit.

2.3 Analytics cookies

These cookies help Yggra understand how visitors use the website — which pages are popular, how long visitors stay, through which channels they arrive. We use this information to improve our content and structure. These cookies are placed only after your consent.

2.4 Marketing cookies

These cookies are used to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns and to display relevant content on other platforms. These cookies are placed only after your consent.

3. Specific cookies on yggra.eu

The table below provides an overview of the cookies that may be placed on yggra.eu. We verify this list periodically and after each significant change to the website.

Implementation note: this table will be verified and supplemented after a cookie scan of the live website. The final list depends on which analytics and marketing tags are activated (e.g. Google Analytics, LinkedIn Insight Tag, HubSpot tracking). If no analytics or marketing cookies are deployed, the corresponding rows can be removed.

4. How do you manage your consent?

On your first visit to yggra.eu, you will see a cookie banner where you can choose what to allow per category:

  • Accept all: all cookies will be placed.
  • Reject all: only strictly necessary cookies will be placed.
  • Preferences: you choose per category which cookies you allow.

Your choice is stored for 6 months. After that, we will ask again. You can adjust your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

The banner and consent registration are managed via Finsweet ConsentPro. This allows Yggra to demonstrably record when and how you gave consent — as required by the GDPR.

5. Managing cookies via your browser

In addition to our cookie banner, you can also manage cookies via your browser settings. Each browser works slightly differently, but the settings can usually be found via the Preferences or Settings menu → Privacy.

Per-browser instructions:

Be aware that fully blocking cookies may cause parts of yggra.eu not to work correctly.

6. Do Not Track

Most browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Yggra does not currently honour this signal automatically, as no industry standard exists for its interpretation. Your consent via our cookie banner is decisive — there you have full control.

7. Personal data and cookies

Some cookies process personal data within the meaning of the GDPR (for example, your IP address). For more information on how Yggra processes personal data, please refer to our privacy policy.

8. Changes to this policy

Yggra may amend this cookie policy when we deploy new tools, add or remove cookies, or when legislation changes. The most recent version is always available at yggra.eu/cookies.
